Baskin Robbins is having 31 cents a scoop ice cream tomorrow night!!! Wed, April 29!!!!! Don't forget!!!

Lovin...

I usally always blog about my kids and wonderful husband but after reading a longtime wonderful friend of mine's blog (Sydney) I thought this would be a great idea...

I actually can not complain about anything these days I can honestly say I am happily content with my life! I would not change one thing! Yah! But here are a few things I am LOVIN' these days...

1. Elliot is such an amazing man, husband and father. Our relationship with each other has grown more than I could have ever imagined. I know God gave us to each other and our marriage has only grown stronger with him. Our anniversary is this Friday and I can not believe how time has flown by. I love him more today than I ever have and I know I could not ask for anything better. After 10 years I think we may know each other better than we know ourselves sometimes. I love you EJ!

2. Cannon Ty's love handles, no joke! When he only has a diaper on and he walks away he has love handles that hang over his diaper! Too cute!

3. Our house... just love it, would not change a thing.

4. Watching Elliot coach his boys... I still get a nervous stomach ache at every game till one of Elliot's boys touch the football after kick off??? I know that is strange but still happens to this day.

5.A clean kitchen...just love it

6. I am lovin budgeting and I am a huge bargainer... Just ask Autumn. I will get the deal I promise. I get the best feeling knowing I got the best price on something or knowing I saved my family money.

7. Seeing my kids when they first wake up in the morning... it is priceless

8. Dancing with my dance team girls at Bethal... we love to play some "fun " music (they call it booty music) and just let loose! It always makes me feel like I am 14 years old again.

9.Beth Moore studies-I still get so excited to start a new one each time. I always work ahead too! Sorry I can not help it!

10. Getting good old fashion mail... it makes me feel like a kid again.

11. Blogging... it is awesome. I feel addicted to it, I love to follow friends and let my family have a chance to see what is going on with my kids!

12. Caleb's baseball team... they are kicking butt!! Oh, and of course my Caleb is killing the ball and being a monster at pitcher!

13. Catching up with old friends from high school

14.My mother in law, Momma Kathy! I just love her to pieces! I am sure she was meant to be my mother seriously! Elliot always says I think she loves you more than she loves me! And, I like to think so! hahah! She is fantastic! She is such an awesome woman, her strength and loving spirit is something I hope to give my family!

Well, I think that is enough about me... but I could go on and on with things I am lovin these days. I have prayed about these days for a long time and I have been so thankful for this time in my life.

Player of the Game

These pics are of Caleb playing ball-playing pitcher and batting!
I know everyone has read about my oldest child Caleb in previous blogs but I have to brag on him today!!! He was chosen as Player of the Game and given the game ball by his team and the umpire tonight! Go Caleb! As, I type I am smiling from ear to ear in a proud momma moment! Caleb is my oldest child who I had a young age and he is the one the best gifts God has blessed me with, this child is the sweetest and most caring child also! He was our only child for 6 years before God blessed us with Cannon Ty, so in a way we did grow up with Caleb also. He loves to play ball and LOVES to win-very competitive -oh, and I do not have a clue where he gets that from????
Tonight his team played an awesome game and Caleb made plays that made me almost pee in my pants. This child was stopping ground balls that were hit at him like an adult hit them and he would snag them up and throw them out at first (he plays pitcher)!!! He also tagged out 3 players running one down on third base! Okay, sorry so I am sure you can tell I am so PROUD!!! After each game the coaches decide who gets the game ball and I knew Caleb played well but I thought you never know. Well, when the announced that Caleb got the ball he was so excited and he kept saying,"I got the game ball oh my I got the game ball!" It was so darn cute! So, as I close up I am reminded at how fast "my baby" has grown and how he is a big boy that plays little league and is taking after his daddy playing ball! Caleb I love you and I am so proud of you! So, as I sit here crying in happiness and wishing he was here with me, (he is spending the night with a friend-also tear for that so big!)I brag on my Player of the Game!

Boys, Boys and Boys

Everything around the Jacobs household has been extremely busy lately...
Caleb has started his baseball season and has hit the ball everytime at bat! Go Caleb!! He is playing pitcher and doing a great job!He reminds me so much of Elliot when he is playing, it has brought back so many memories of watching Elliot play ball in high school, college and the minors --it is crazy! The big boys (Elliot and Caleb) only have 5 weeks of school left after this week! I think EJ is more excitied than Caleb though! hah! Caleb is doing much better at school and we are pleased of the progress he has made in such a short period of time! This year has been very rough for all of us with the move and adjustment to school, work and a new town.

We have also found a new church home which is so exciting for us~ It has taken us some time to find a church since moving to Bryant but we are driving to Little Rock for church which is great! I should actually say the church found us and not vice versa. We have been attending The Church at Rock Creek and we are in love and God is at work in this church. IT IS AMAZING! God has blessed our family with so many experiences and we really feel that he is going to bless us with many more at this church. He has been our foundation and we could not live a day without him! Thank you Lord!

Cannon is doing great also! He is now saying, "momma " and "na na na na"! He is also running! It is so fun! I will post pictures soon of all of his birhtday celebrations! He had four of them to be exact! He is cracking us up all of the time... Today while home with him (He had fever from shots and teething) he figured out that he could ride his four wheeler up to the recliner-stand on the seat-climb into the recliner-then push the four wheeler with his feet out of the way-then rock very hard and fast in the recliner!! Woo HOO! Fun Fun Times!

Lastly, we are moving into a new house!!!! WooHoo finally! We are going to start moving this weekend and finish up by next Wednesday night! I am going out of town for a work trip to Tunica on Thursday morning! We have a LOT of work to finish before I leave! I will post pics soon!

Other than that not much is new! I am really trying to budget better-to the penny! I have been doing a lot of research on Dave Ramsey and his financial univeristy?? If anyone has info please help. I have heard that it is a great plan to follow and many people are very successful at it!

Will post pics soon!

Cannon Ty is "1" Today!!!

I can not believe today is already April 15th, my baby is one today!!! All day I have been thinking back about last year at this time and how fast time has flown by. He has brought so much joy to our lives that it is hard to think back about what life was like without him. Caleb is so excited about our big boy turing "1",I think we ALL are in shock!

Cannon is walking all around and has started to finally pick up the pace, he was walking so slow! It was too funny! He is trying to talk to us and tell us stuff but he is still blabling all the time! He will say "HEY, " and wave at people! Elliot says I say , Hey, way too much and that is why both of our boys have said Hey before anything else! I think he may be right!

Oh, and we are finally moving out of this apartment that we have been trapped in since July! It was the only thing we could find when we moved here for Elliot's job! Around the first of May we will be moving into our house! We are so excitied including the boys!!!!
