Surprise for Dad.... Yeah Right!!!!

A little bit of picture over load...
On Saturday while EJ was playing golf I had pictures taken of the boys and I for EJ's fathers day gift. We will be at the beach on Father's Day so I had planned to have the pictures taken and have them printed up and framed for his football office... well with two wild men I mean who can keep a secret? No, it was not Caleb who told but sweet little toot toot Cannon Ty... it is okay though EJ really loved the idea and he knows things usually do not go as planned. I am not big on maternity pictures but we did take a few since these will be the last ones EVER!
We are off to the pool for the day... while EJ plays golf! It will be a fun Memorial Day!

Headed to the Hill...

This weekend has been in the back of my mind since ummm like February. I did not make any plans for this weekend but kept it in mind thinking well I could always turn it into a lazy weekend of crossing off things from our to do list...

No way man!!! WE (BRYANT LADY HORNETS SOFTBALL) ARE HEADED TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN FAYETTEVILL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS!!!!!! YES WE ARE!!!!

My sweet hubby can't believe it either, he may actually end the weekend wearing a state championship ring for softball before he has one of his hand for football... a think it is a little funny . Right guys????

We are so pumped and excited... I think I have cried happy tears each day this week. During the semi-final game I stayed home with Cannon Ty and cried each time I received an update from the game. So, as you can tell I will really need prayer on Saturday around 2:00 pm so that I don't freak out every child at the softball field from continuous crying. Also, please pray that everyone stays safe and the girls make a positive experience from this journey no matter what the outcome.

GO LADY HORNETS!!!!

The Simple Things

During the past week I have become so thankful for a few of life's simple things.

This wild man... my sweet little Cannon Ty turned "2 " a month ago and can you believe the "wild man 2's," have already hit? No way huh? He is really giving me a run for my money these days! But, oh oh oh I love it! I love the "evil" little laugh, how he tattle tells on everyone and how sneaky he is. Where did my baby go?

I know all southern girls love some YellowBox flip flops, I have always loved these flip flops but being pregnant I have found a new found love for them. This year for Mother's Day Elliot and the boys took me to this store after church and Elliot said okay go ahead and pick yourself a couple of pairs. It was bliss!

The sounds at the baseball field... I could close my eyes and just sit and listen to all the sounds. And, my favorite thing of course is to watch Caleb and his team do what they love. This year has been fun to see how intense and serious the boys have began to take the game. Caleb has started pitching for the "AAA" 9 year old boys (sorry he is 8 though) and it has made me tear up every time.

Our church... Indian Springs Baptist Church

I couldn't find our logo for our church so I decided I would just write about it. I don't leave our church on a Sunday feeling how I came in the parking lot. I cry each Sunday while the little boys that sit by us stare at me ( I am sure they are asking their mother what in the world is wrong with that pregnant lady). Our church family is so loving and our kids LOVE going to church every Sunday. Caleb's heart is open and understanding of the word and it is so visible how God is working in his 8 yr old life. That feeling there is completely worth everything to Elliot and I.

Also, I wanted to update everyone on what is going on in our life...

Tomorrow I will be 7 months along... can you believe it? I am really enjoying this pregnancy and it has been such a blessing. I feel great and we can't to see our sweet little Camdyn Elliot. This week our wonderful friends at work are having showers for us. I am really excited my office is having a shower on Tuesday and Elliot's school is having one on Wednesday afternoon. We are so very thankful!

Elliot's softball team won the 7A Central Conference!!! Go Hornets! We plays Monday and Wednesday for semi-finals and we hope that we will be spending next weekend in Fayettville at the State Finals at the U of A. Elliot has also decided to stay with the Bryant School District next year. This is something we have really prayed about and we feel that this is where God needs us right now.

The boys finish school on June 3 (oh to stinking snow days)! Football camp is the next week and then baseball camp! Our vacation to Gulf Shores is still up in the air ( stinky oil) and my doctor will have to release me to go!!! He is making me come in the day before we leave to see if I am okay to make the trip. Oh, how I need one more beach vacation before I have three (yes 3) children!! I really NEED to eat some (A LOT) crab claws too before Camdyn gets here! If we end up not going I told Elliot he has to call Lulu's or Neptune's to see if they can ship me some crab claws!!!! Can you tell how I LOVE crab claws and how I have been craving them daily?? Also, Elliot's family is having a baby shower for us in Alabama while we are there... sweet Camdyn would love to have some ROLL TIDE attire!!!!

I will post this week about the showers!!!! Have a great week!

Love, The Jacobs
