Buck Teeth

The poor title of this post...the only thing I have to say is,"God love my brother inlaw." For the ones who know my brother in law Ross, you all know he is CRAZY funny!!

We had pictures taken in November for Elliot's Dads side of the family and my itty bitties learned a new phrase from their uncle... Buck Teeth. I can not tell you why he thought them this or how it came up but we spent the next few days, no I take that back more like weeks trying to phase out that term. KK and Cannon thought it was hilarious and they were saying in not appropriate settings...like Awana's
and at school. Cannon even asked Ole St Nick if he knew what Buck Teeth were and he asked if any of the Shepard's that meet baby Jesus had buck teeth. Oh Ross, just wait until you have kids!!

Oh and he taught my precious ones to say, "Lets bounce," when it's time to leave.
Yay, so "let's bounce!"

Going once, going twice...SOLD

In November, I was thankful that my sweet precious sister came to visit us from Iowa. The kiddos and I picked her up from the airport and then she became my partner in parenting over the next couple of days.

Chief was pinned ( haha...a wrestling term ) down with wrestling tournaments and I was in charge of the 2nd annual Santa's Silent auction at KK's school. The PTO board started this event last year and it went beyond our expectations so we did it again this year. We had gumbo, cookies and milk, auction items galore and of course Mr and Mrs Claus. It was a success again this year and I am oh so thankful for the wonderful ladies that serve on our PTO board. Great job again girls!!

Three weeks later we had our Dessert Theater at SBLA, this event is a similar to a dinner theater but with dessert instead and live/silent auction.
All of our kiddos (students) took part in performing The Littlest Christmas Tree and all of our classes donated two or more child driven art pieces. Precious! We doubled our profit from last year and more importantly our ministry is growing beyond measures.
My sweet ones ( my kiddos) were so cute in their costumes... CE was a mouse of the forrest and Cannon was a fragrant Skunk!!!

You can't see Cannon tail in this only picture I was able to snap as he jetted onto the stage but the tail MADE the costumes! Our teachers worked so hard on all the costumes and completed them way ahead of schedule! Yay ladies!!!

Organized Chaos

I am back Jack!!!

Holy smokes batman this season of life has been flying by literally.
The Jacobs pack is going strong and living life to the fullest these days. We have had so many changes and I have many updates to document so I can remember these blessed days!!

Christmas is in less than a week and I am completely ready, first time everything is done... Bought, wrapped and baked...check!! Yay!

I am loving my little job at the church and I am sooo thankful to work with amazing Christian woman three days a week...there is a huge possibility to have my " purpose in life job," within the next week. Praying God continues to open those doors.

I have been training for the Little Rock half marathon... Getting nervous really nervous.

Got my fingers shut in the car door, couldn't get the door open waited 20 minutes for my precious friend Laura who saved me...literally. After passing out in the drive way I only had one broken finger and a huge cut!
Praise the Lord and it was on the day of Dessert Theater! Yay!!

We took the Jacobs pack to see Santa yesterday....

Cannon was beyond excited and he is enjoying this season so much! He cant wait to see what baby Jesus gets for his birthday which means he is totally getting and listening to me talk! Haha!

Camdyn Elliot... Oh my sweet goodness. We can wear piggy tails/dog ears...

She is growing so fast and the Lord has such huge plans with her personality...it is going to be something! She is loving her bobo and bubba!!!
She is such a little momma and is talking ALL the time...Elliot is dying!

We celebrated KK's 10th birthday a few weeks ago... Yes 10, I won't go there!
We had a gym party which included 30 friends, pizza and Bama cupcakes and dodge ball...lots of it!! Haha! They had a blast and were wore out after all the running... Here is KK opening his present from Dad and Mom...

Yes, it is a phone an iphone to be exact. I wont go into details but Chief thought it was a necessity. He was the last one in his group of friends to get a phone. Pathetic, yes, tell me about it!

sending love and fun.
