CooCoo Birds

i am enjoying watching the big white snow flakes fall to the ground and listening to camdyn fight with ali-bama over her chair...seriously.

girlfriend loves her some ali-bama dog. no joke. she feeds her by hand, puts blankets on her and attempts to pick her up multiple times through the day. poor ali-bama.

sister friend has been chatty kathy lately and no one can get a word in at all. the other day in the car she would not stop talking, yelling or whatever she does and mr cannon said, "now that is one crazy coo-coo bird." oh, i wanted to cover my face... why???? because i use that term way too much to describe less then level headed human beings. oh no...boy i am in trouble with that.  i later found out on thursday afternoon he has been using that term at school (yes my school) to describe a little female friend that he does not care for.lovely. go me go.  he also made sure to tell his teacher mrs sarah that his mom says it ALL the time and she is the boss so she can. hahaha!! yay!

my sweet babies before school last week... cannon was dressed as "uncle matt" in his marengo academy longhorns sweatshirt and his basketball warm up pants. love. and then we got our very own coo-coo bird haha!!! sista is full blown of personality.love.

i enlisted the help of some of my preschool buddies to help me in taking a picture for my directory picture for the chamber of commerce. we had to take a silly picture...oh how i love them dearly and god is really allowing me to open my heart and serve him. god is good all the time. remember that.
cannon the donut man. i took the kiddos to krispy kreme two weekends ago while chief was at a wrestling tournament and cannon just loved it... for the entire day he was the donut man. he so embarrassed his big brother; we were on our way to kk's aau basketball tournament in little rock for the day. yay this mom was thinking... i guess.sorry kk.

this is kk and his beyond amazing, wonderful and precious teacher, mrs. scoggins.  kk had a basketball game and she had told him she would come and bring her two sons. her boys are AMAZING basketball players and they both play for the high school needless to say kk really looks up to them and they are sooo kind to kk.  her boys have played aau ball since they were 10 and mrs scoggins knows her basketball too (check out how tall she is; seriously).  when they came that morning it not only meant so much to kk but as a parent it meant the world to me. to have a teacher that takes this much interest in her students it such a blessing to chief and i. she truely loves her job and her students.  that morning she told me how much she enjoyed kk and how she couldn't wait to see him play; she had heard how well he played but couldn't wait to see it for herself.  she was blown away (her words to be exact). she couldn't believe she was seeing a 10 year old who really got the game/knowledge wise and how much a fighter he was. seriously... if someone scores on him watch out bc he will fight to score right back on you. his team went on to win in overtime. the score was 22-21 and kk had 18 points. (i know God does not like us to be boastful but it is my child and i am so proud of him.sorry lord please forgive me.)  kk played four more games that day at an aau tournament, it was our first aau experience and we learned a LOT oh my. his first shot was literally packed up into the bleachers by a 5 foot 5 inch 4th graders. ha. i had to laugh. god love him. he played well and was worn out by the end of the day- in bed by 7:30 pm. love him.

this next picture made me laugh so hard on friday night...

this made me think of my days back old el dorado high. our pto at kk's school sells valentine grams and we attach notes from the kids to a pack of fun dip. friday night i was working on my set of orders and i came across this candy gram, i had to take a picture and please do not think i am making fun of a child or anything like that at all. the what up home (homie i am guessing??) dog...haha give me a neclace. noted from a 3rd grader. oh, see bryant folks we can be ghetto too. it just gave me a wonderful laugh and a trip down memory lane-i could see this coming straight from a student at el do high. funny love.
