Follow that Bus!!!!!

Cannon was yelling, "Follow that Bus," as we said bye to Elliot and the Hornets this morning. The guys are headed to Bentonville to play in the 2nd round of the playoffs tonight. It is a 4 hours bus ride so that started out early today and stopping to eat lunch.  The kids and I are staying home to prepare for my sister's arrival and leaving next week for Alabama. I am kinda sad we are not following the bus today but oh my I think I would be so tired and with the 3 kids in the car that long then the cold night game-No thanks!! We will be listening tonight in the warmth of our cozy house and Christmas tree lights (yes, I put my tree up).

My BFF Autumn (Aut-Aut to Cannon Ty) and her husband are departing on Tuesday morning to their new residence ....

HAWAII!!!!!

I can not believe it and I know it will not hit me until they are gone.  Aut Aut's husband enlisted in the army over a year and a half ago... gosh the time has flown by. 

Back story.... Aut Aut and I met in the tenth grade we both were selected to be on at the time Gov. Huckabee's Youth Board. She lived in a town over 2 hours away from my town and there was only 30 youth selected from the state to be on this board... and we meet.  And we have been the best of friends since... over 10 years of friendship, sisterhood and amazing love for someone that is just like you.  Weird, fact also that I met Chief the following Monday at school-he had just moved to our school. Crazy!

Anyway.... I am so happy for her to be experiencing this life style and she is the person to be an army wife... She is great this girl!

So, as Taco Beuno, Harp's and Captain D's will miss our gatherings of continuous loud laughter at their establishments I hope to visit her in Hawaii to annoy others with our loudness.

Aut Aut and Brandon came to visit the kiddos last week and we snuck in a few pictures just in case we forget before they leave on Tuesday.

We love y'all so much!!!!

Mr Cannon really loves his Aut Aut (we all call her that now b/c of him). He needs to talk to her on the phone a few times a week and cries for her at times. When she is around he wants nothing to do with his mommy! And, I love it! She will the best mother when the Lord blesses her with a child.

Holy Batman...

Holy moley batman I am so thankful that today is Thursday....

My weeks usually go by extremely fast but oh my this one is a draggin'.

My only missing two for a starting basketball line up have been WILD.

And my Chief has been MIA... 1st week of the playoffs and wrestling-only 3 weeks till first match....And between you and I part of me would really like the football season to cease tomorrow night! Not really but just a little.  Ever since sweat pea was born literally he has been gone and I have been on full time night and day duty...And, we do not have any family close... It takes them at least 2 hours to get here.... I need a VACAY... okay sorry about the vent but sometimes we just have to do it ... right ladies?????

The remaining of our November calendar and the whole month of December looks like a pen exploded on them...I know this sounds horrible too but I NEED to put my Christmas decorations up this weekend or next... We have something every weekend starting next weekend.

But other than Cannon being naked almost the whole week... besides outings the pictures tonight are of his wildness this week....

Here a few Cannon highlights of the week...

*while going to the bathroom they (cannon and camdyn) are in the seats at the table locked in I might add-come back in the kitchen and Camdyn is eating Cheerios. Her cheeks are stuffed and I mean full... and there is Cannon next to her sitting ON the table. Ummm...lets just say I did not place Cheerios on her tray nor could she of gotten them by herself.

* Directly after the nurse gave him his flu shot this week at the dr he points his finger at her and proceeds to tell her.... "You a mean lady... not nice."

*Last night when I thought he was in bed... I walk out of the office and down the hall and he is sitting in his bedroom doorway with the Wal-mart Toy catalog in the hallway in the light since his room was dark.  I went and grabbed the camera and turned the flash off---he never knew I was that close to him. He is into the toy catalogs these days. The picture is below.

*I found KK's old bassinet and decided to place in on Craiglist... I left it in the laundry room so no one would mess with it while my camera battery charged... went to get it and look who was in it???? Picture below.

*And, Tuesday he decided he was going to school with KK so he could play with Josh all day. Got dressed and back pack on before 7 AM... pic below but he was running from me.

His new favorite sayings that he says  ALL day long... they are so funny and sooo cute..... "Oh yeeeeahhhh"   "Oh my gosh" " I go to the field" "no thats my bub" "I okay mom"

*Lastly, today he was all in Camdyn's face when she was in her Bumbo and I asked him what are you doing Cannon his answer....."we talkin duh?"

My Baby Story #3

This is supposed to be my birth story of baby #3... and it actually is but I wanted to tell first that Chief and I had decided our family was complete with the 2 boys.  Between Caleb and Cannon Ty we had miscarried twice and it was a very difficult time for us so after having the two boys we had decided we were complete and with Chief's job it was all I could really do.

God always has other plans though...Chief was actually going to have the ole procedure done during his 2 week summer break between football camp and meetings starting up.  So....

After finding out we were expecting our 3rd bundle of joy we just knew it was another boy-my dr had explained the % of it being a boy and it was like the high 80's. He did an ultrasound that day to make sure our little bundle had a heart beat since my history and everything looked great-the "dr" even said, "oh it looks like another boy."

That ultrasound was not official though and thank goodness.... about 4 weeks later my dr scheduled the official ultrasound. In the meantime we had picked out a name...... Cooper Elliot and had began calling him by name.

The day we went in for the US we were great just gonna check this boy out and be on our way.... Chief was able to miss practice and head to the appointment with me. When the US tech came out and got us she began picking on Chief b/c he coaches at Bryant(he had a Bryant football t-shirt on) and she is from Benton (They are huge rivals the annual football game attendance is 30,000-yes for a high school game that is HUGE is AR. Oh, and we have won for the past like 10 years....Go HORNETS!!!)

So, after checking things out and Chief and I continuously saying oh look at Cooper and he, he, and he..... She began to laugh very loudly.

She said I do not know why ya'll are calling this baby "he," I said what.... She said this is a baby GIRL.

I almost rolled off the table laughing so hard I could not stand it. Chief was laughing and we could not contain ourselves.  Another US tech came and knocked on the door and asked if everything was okay. (She thought we were crying) Oh no ma'am just laughing in disbelief. Another side note Chief's family has not had a baby girl born in the family in over 10 generations. So, needless to say we were beyond happy and so thankful for God blessing us with a baby girl.

Okay.... onto the birth story. I am already apologizing for the length....

Every thing started getting a little exciting at the beginning of July...

right after getting back from our annual beach trip to Gulf Shores.

I began having a LOT of swelling in my feet and I mean massive swelling. My legs and feet were bigger than Chief's. ha! Along with the swelling my BP was really high (usually mine is extremely LOW) and then my dr. placed me on bed rest through the weekend and wanted me to come back in on Monday am.

After being off my feet the entire weekend and having NO stress we loaded up for Little Rock on Monday morning.

At the office my BP was high-higher than it had ever been and my dr began pushing on my belly and sweet girl wasn't moving much. He had us head over to the hospital for observation for a few hours. I tested negative for preclampsia(sorry about the spelling)  and he sent me home for extended bed rest until she was to be delivered.  He kept swearing that she would be here early and he told me as soon as something started to hurry up b/c little miss was so low.

Oh, and some back info......When we were given her due date of August 2nd way back when..we about died. That is the first week of two a day practices in AR.... just lovely. At that time my dr PROMISED me he would deliver her before that to make sure Chief would be there and have time with her before football started.

Okay , Sorry!

So, each week my dr would have me go in twice a week...

Each week on Thursday he would say well I will probably see you this weekend at the hospital.

Well, lets just go to July 27th- still no baby and yes football is starting on Monday morning. FUN! At this appointment he tells us to pick a day after Wednesday, Aug the 4th the following week... what are you kidding me. I of course picked the next day Thursday August the 5th. 

So Chief starts football practice that week and we decide it will be easier to have my parents come up and keep the kids and let my mom take me to the hospital to start my induction and let Chief come as soon as they got out that morning. 

Bright and early at 5:00 am, Aug 5th,  mom and I headed to the hospital Chief heads to football practice while my dad keeps the two sleeping boys at home.

After getting checked in my dr breaks my water around 8:00 am and the pitocin was started. After watching the View and getting through some tough contractions Chief flys in on two wheels at 11:00am. At 11:15 am I get my epidural and then I am great to go. My dr timed my pitocin to get me ready to deliver around 4:30. Around 3:30 my epidural decided to stop working on the left side of my body... so weird. By the time the dr came up and redid the epidural it was 4:15 and the nurse (whom I LOVED) checked and we were ready to deliver a baby!!!! I held off pushing till my dr walked in at 4:35....we started pushing and my sweet pea was born at 4:45 pm.

I could  not ask for a better delivery.... my dr now calls me "Earth Mother"

And, he talked to his wife on speaker phone during delivery...I am glad I know her.

He is crazy nuts but I love him!!!

Chief and I were the only ones in the room during delivery and after she arrived Chief went out and brought her big brothers in to see her for the first time.

She was 7 lbs  6 oz!

We are so thankful for God's amazing blessing!

Spookoween 2010

This year has flown by and I am seriously struggling with the idea that this school year is almost 1/2 over. Since Chief coaches and KK is in school we base everything on the school year calendar/football season. When Halloween hits us that means oh my here is Thanksgiving and Christmas!

We love Halloween at the Jacob's house!!!

Since moving to the Central AR area 3 years ago we have joined one of the coaches that coaches with Chief and his family. We enjoy it so much. They have 3 children and the kids play so well together. Each year we eat (YUM!!! Bart is an amazing griller) and then we load the trailer and Chief and Bart pull us around the neighborhood with the Ranger! The kids enjoy it soooo much! And, this year so did Jen and I!!!! We were scouting costumes for next year-they are having an adult party.ha! Trust me.... we saw some interesting stuff!!

We spent the actual Halloween date at our church for our Fall Festival. The kids had such a great time! Caleb climbed the rock climbing wall over and over while Spidey (Cannon) jumped in the bouncy house the entire time. He was so wild I could not keep up with him-I tried to take pictures but as you will be able to see it wasn't the greatest b/c we was EVERY where such a blur! Cannon also rode the train(our church owns a little train and they ride the children around the parking lot during church and at various activities) by himself. It was the first for him... Chief is so weird about stuff like that... he usually walks beside it while Cannon rides b/c he is worried about whoever is driving it or he thinks Cannon would just jump out.) While Spidey jumped and KK climbed little miss sweet pea and I had a photo shoot! ha! from the stroller....

Oops I Did It Again...

Okay, so I hope this is my final apology.... to this blog anyway. Yes, oops I did it again... I forgot about this blog in the midst of having our 3rd baby and now being an official full time stay at home mommy.


Well, I will update everyone on what is now going on in the Jacob's household....

First up.... Daddy-0 or aka "Chief" (more on the Chief thing later). They are finishing up football season with playoffs next week here at home (Bryant) vs Springdale. They tied for conference champs and we will see how this week goes. Baseball workouts started the 2nd week of school with 5:30 am workouts everyday during the week... so yes let your imagination wonder of who is full time night duty and day duty.... yes I answered that question... yours truly. love it. Now, wrestling started last week... just lovely. Oh, and I forgot to mention the ever loving new baseball fence that is being built by my loving hubby and Coach Bock... I will have to take pictures it is not your average chain link fence. I hate the fence with a passion.... So beside all of that mess... yeah I get to see my husband like all the time... don't you love the sarcasm. If I were working and trying to raise my three little blessing oh my I would have seriously harmed someone by now....

Next up..... "KK" or Bub Caleb is doing his thing with 3rd grade.... All A's and one B on the ole report card. We LOVE his teacher also. He is getting so big and acting so grown up it just breaks my heart that he will be 9 yrs old in less than a month. He is playing flag football this fall instead of fall baseball and he just LOVES it.... he plays quarterback and receiver. It just amazes me to watch him play because he is sooo athletic and he loves the game so much. Each Friday night is a nervous nelly for Saturday morning. Him and another boy, Gage, really play well together and they swap back and forth as QB and receiver. He def has an arm like his daddy and his speed.
There is a picture of him playing QB but I will download the really good ones this week. Also, we have our first little girlfriend`... of which I was informed by from her mother this week on our class field trip. ha! It really did make me laugh and realize that, "yes i am a mother of a boy and I will probably always be the last to know." But, EJ and I give him credit she is a little CUTIE!!!!

And, next would be..... CanCan or "The Cannon Ty" Mr. Cannon is a wild man and I love it. He is 110% all boy.... oh, the stories I could tell about this child. I am saving those for a post all dedicated to Cannon mayhem. I am so proud of him though, he has been such a great big brother and he is sooo sweet to Miss Camdyn. We potty trained completely (potty and poop) in just a few days. I don't believe in the whole Pull-Up business...we go straight to underwear. We stayed home strictly for 3 days not going anywhere... but hey who wants to take an infant, a 2 yr old and 8 yr old all by yourself to joy ride around town... "not I," said momma bear. He loves his trains and loves watching any shows on PBS. He is really loving Elmo and Clifford too. He started calling EJ "Coach," alot too and he always wants to go to the "fiellllllllld." Gosh, I LOVE my Cannon man.

And, here she is Camdyn.... Cammie...CE..... or "sis" I am so afraid she is going to start school thinking her name is Sis, Sister or Sissy. All of KK's friends call her that and so does everyone in his class and most of our friends. She is soooo happy and has quite the little personality. She loves to raise her eyebrows up and then smile real big. She loves to stand on her little legs and she is always chewing on her sweet little hands. She is already known at KK's school for her "bows and poofs." All the kids always ask to she what she is wearing on her head.... ha too funny!
She still will not take a passie and she sleeps best when all "hail" is breaking loose (the boys are sooo loud) I think she has slept through every football game even with the cannon going off and the fireworks, she doesn't even jump.I am thankful each day for our 3rd little surprise (since we were done with 2) she is such a sweet little blessing and oh so fun already. The boys (all 3) just love on her and you can already tell that they all think she hung the moon.

And lastly.... ME!!!! ha! Mom, momma, and mommy. I answer to just about anything these days. Well, the best news of all is that..... I am officially a STAY AT HOME MOM full time... ha literally.
I am really enjoying it though. It def has its crazy days but the joy of seeing KK run to the car during after school pick up and teaching Cannon how to paint and how to use scissors has brought tears to my eyes so many times. Just the enjoyment it brings me to see my kids happy and the growth I have seen in them in such a short period of time is amazing. I could not imagine working during this time full time, taking care of 3 kids, KK's activities, EJ's job and taking care of housework/meals. Oh my do I ever look up to the mommy's that can do it all everyday and work outside the home. It has for sure had its changes and some have not been so fun but I really love being with my kids and during this time they need at least one parent to be here all the time. Due to EJ's job as a coach it is just impossible for him to home during this time of the year. I am thankful for EJ's job though.... it supports our family and we feel that this is where God wanted us to be during this time and I know EJ loves what he does and the kids he coaches.
I have been making bows for friends and friends of friends and sewing some too... when I have time. I need to start organizing my time better so I am hoping to do better with that this week if there ever is such a thing of being organized in this chaos.

And, it has taken me like 3 hours to finally complete this post.... ha!
