Zoo and Olympic Trials

The kiddos and I headed up North to Iowa and South Dakota for ten days to visit with my sweet older sisters, nieces and extended family. Oh heaves it was still
Soooooo HoT though.

We went to the Omaha Zoo which is amazing and the best zoo seriously!!! I grew up going to this zoo every summer and I enjoyed being able to take my little monsters to the same zoo!

The zoo had an awesome aquarium and the kiddos were able to touch a star fish, snails and some other odd objects...

My crew ( the best pic we could get)

Big sister and I attempting to get at least one pic together. The tank behind us has fish that would swim back and forth really fast and wild women chased them like a crazy Arkansas person.

Cannon and his favorite thing at the zoo... No seriously. He still talks about this giraffe statue????

I dont have any pictures of the Olympic swimmers but the zoo was busting at the seams with Olympic swimmers. The trials were in Omaha and I guess they were having some down time at the zoo. I have never realized how jacked up pro swimmers are... Whoa!!! I was very impressed!

Next up the July of the 4th!!!

Where has June gone??

Whoa momma! Where did June go????

I can not believe June is half way over and the kids and I will be leaving soon to spend 10 days in ole South Dakota and Iowa!

The kids and I have been enjoying our days...

KK has been going to the Boys and Girls Club with his friends most days... We are so not cool enough for him.

Some other random mess...

The other day I drove to Wal-Mart and back with these babies on the hood of Cheif's truck. Yes, we went to WalMart bought groceries and made it home the. I saw Cheif's flip flops on the hood. Glad they made it back safe with us! Haha!!

Chief is loving his job and we are all adjusting great. Times are a changing baby! Cannon said randomly the other day " the hornets are soooo going to lose without my dad." It made me smile.

Signed up for my first post baby run... St Jude Marathon Relay. Team Playground Crew whoop whoop. I hope the miles come back quick after Sept 20th since the race is Dec1st. It won't be PR that's fo' sho!

Oh my I need to plan Cannon and Cammie's swim party too.... I am always behind.

Have a wonderful Father's Day!!!

Hey Batter Batter

Mr. Cannon played in his first baseball tournament this weekend ( our first weekend of both boys playing in tournaments and no where near each other).

His team finished up on Monday night and they won 2nd place!!! Yay!! Cannon was beyond pumped and he knew it called for a trip to US Pizza after receiving his medal!

He loves to play baseball and he can't wait to be a Diamond Dawg one day like KK!

Cannon and his little buddies...

3 out of 4 will be in the same class next year, watch out Ms Carla!

I will be saving this next picture for the high school years because these two boys will be on the Bryant Hornet baseball rooster before long.

Cannon and Ryan are big time buddies. Chief and Ryan's daddy have coached football together since we moved to Bryant, we will miss seeing them so often in the Fall.

jeremiah 29:11

for i know the plans i have for you, declares the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. jeremiah 29:11

this has been the saving words in my head daily. our life is changing big time, almost unimaginable- if that is a word.

our days have been filled with ball games, end of the school year events and making fun adult like life decisions.

cannon and i went on a date to disney on ice. he loved it.

my little brother got married and i was a horrible sister bc this is the only picture i have from the whole weekend.

my bestie visited in April from Hawaii. love her to piece and oh i could really give her a big hug right now.

we had beach day at school.

cammie would rather ride on top of her car then in it. fun times.

holy smokes, i almost kissed the guy working the drive thru at taco johns. why kissed? because i have never seen a taco johns anywhere near arkansas and low and behold Russellville. money.

on the same day i found the taco johns in Russellville, chief coached the 7A championship baseball game in Fayetteville and they WON!

i didn't take Cammie to f town bc we just did a day trip.

after this game chief made a life changing decision... he will no longer be a coach/teacher.

lord continue to guide us.

"it's chocolate"

"it's chocolate," one of our precious pre-k kiddos yelled as i cut into my gender reveal cake.

lol.

we had our gender/19 week ultrasound 2 weeks ago and a parent of one of my kiddos wanted to make a gender reveal cake for the preschool. she is beyond precious. the week before my appointment our 2 pre-k classes predicted the gender and graphed their predictions. common core people common core- all my education friends we are on the ball at sbla.

so on the following tuesday i showed the kiddos pictures from the ultrasound and then I cut into my cake so they could see who had predicted correctly.

they were so excited to see the pink, except for the little fellow that yelled out ," it's chocolate." he really wanted mrs torri to have a chocolate baby- god love him. the last picture i am trying to explain to him that it is only one baby in my belly ( he is a twin) fun times as a preschool director!! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

18 weeks... Whoa!

Time is flying by with this pregnancy and really life in general. I took my own bump picture on Sunday... Dangerous. I need to practice or get Chief to help me out next time.

2 takes and they are both goofy as heck! The bump is out of control this time around, when I went to the dr on Monday I asked the dumbest question. Why is my belly so big this time compared to previously pregnancies???? Dr Harrison laughed so loud and boy did I feel like a ding dong. He responded after his loud goofy laugh," well Earth mother that's what happens each time you get pregnant- your belly gets bigger!" duh and lovely!!

After have a nice day I busted out of that joint!

Our Redeemer LIVES!!!

Happy Easter 2012!!!

Before school on Thursday morning, sorry if you noticed Cannon grabbing himself! Oh boys!

Camdyn passed out on Friday! God love her, she just laid down on the rug while I was in the laundry room. 3 days a week at school kicks her little booty.

The Jacobs kiddos before church! Reminder to self- the bunny needs to deliver baskets next year while we are at church! Notice the blue ring pop face!

Momma and her babies! Still cant believe there is actually 4 kiddos in this picture!

We will found out baby #4's gender this Friday! Yay!!!

Chief and the kiddos! Aka- josh hamilton!! Hehe!
While watching the Rangers game last night Cannon told Chief he looked like him, as he pointed to Josh Hamilton. About an hour later I get a message from my BFF, Real Housewife of Dallas, Channa saying the exact same thing about Chief/Josh Hamilton! It was too funny!!

We had a lazy family day with just us yesterday. It was nice and quite, plus we got naps!! Yay!
The kiddos dyed more eggs yesterday afternoon and went out to hunt for the 4th time this weekend! Last year i think we went to one hunt, this year oh my we went to 3 then hunted at home!

Since, yesterday I have had this huge feeling of guilt. I mean I have felt horrible and it is all over me not cooking for my family yesterday. We went out to eat after church to Colton's. I felt so horrible even in that moment, like couldn't eat horrible! I am a hormonal pregnant lady I know but I am just sick over this. Okay, sorry for my rant. over.

We are awaiting big visitors at our house this morning!!!

Friday Randoms

this week has definately been a random one at its best.  i finally feel "back to normal," if that is such a thing anymore after sunday's fun.

the baby bump is really moving along. scary. i guess they (drs) are right when they say the bump tends to show earlier and earlier after multiple pregnancies. i believe it. i bought my first set of new maternity clothes last week and i did, yes, i did wear a few items this week. again scary.  i am going to get one of the girls at school to start taking a weekly "bump" pic so i can keep it updated.  cheif is never home at the same time or some days i don't see him so i figures with school i would be better at remembering this.

i have been craving pigs in a blanket and a dr pepper all week. last night i finally got both thank the lord. it was heavenly. syd i am hoping you gets yours soon.

my spring break starts next friday. one week from today...whooohoooo. the babies (camdyn and cannon) and i will leave on friday and head to alabama, i can not wait.  caleb is going with cheif this year to florida for the tournament and universal studios.  i am a tad bit nervous about caleb being gone the entire week with chief and being in florida but i know he will be just find.  i like my kiddos within my reach, i know i need to let go some, hello he is 10 years old and will be with this daddy. i will get over it, promise.

my school kiddos and parents are needing spring break also-trust me i haven't asked them but oh my batman i can tell, if you get my drift. need it, seriously.

i had to go and buy tires all by myself this week. i know that sounds a little ridiculous but i have never had to do that before, but it is baseball season and my hubby doesn't go anywhere but school, the field and taco bell.
you need to know this information, trust me very important.

who would have thought those numbers were so stinking important? the  tires are on my car and i did it all by myself. praise the lord.

i have finally picked a new curriculum for the preschool. yay.

i hit a local consignment sale this week by accident, really, and got the best stuff. i felt like i was stealing,no seriously, it was so dirt cheap.  i loaded up on baby lulu, gymboree, cach cach and mis-tee-veeous and most items had the orignal tags.  i feel like i have really accomplished a big task when i find new items at those prices.

i will leave this borning and random post with a pictures of my little ones while walking up to school this week.

A Marathon Weekend... No really.

As I sit on the couch this morning with my feet propped on the ottoman and ice packs on my knees... I am alive!!! Ha!

We started the weekend out with Caleb having his first UTrip baseball tournament of the season on Friday in Conway @ 4:30. Yes, right after school it was a blast let me tell you. The temperature dropped about 20 degrees as we pulled into Conway... Fun times as I had on flip flops!! Brrrrr! We hit up Razorback pizza on the way home, nothing like pizza at 10:00 pm on a Friday night.

Saturday morning we had to be back in Conway by early morning, we went better dressed this time and my sweet parents came to help me over the weekend, EJ had their own tournament and we (I) didn't see him until Sunday morning. KK pitched an awesome game on Saturday. He has been playing so well and he enjoys it beyond measure.

Cannon had tball practice after KK's games, note the baseball pants and cleats!

The BIG Day.. Sunday!!!

Oh my, I was thinking back about how I felt yesterday morning as I waited to start. I wasn't too nervous just wanted to get going, only if i would have known... Haha!

I know people run these all the time- God bless them and as i always says God love them.

As the corral I was in started to move it was def emotional ( add the preg hormones) and exciting. The first mile was wild, seriously, people pushing and literally jumping over one another... Ding dongs! Ha! As I hit mile 2 my phone ( I use it as my iPod) dinged and it was a message from Sydney! It def lifted me up and picked up my pace. Thank you sooo much Syd! I needed it!

The half marathon as a whole was an experience I will never forget. It was mentally tough and physically demanding even though I had trained a decent amount. The feeling of crossing that finish line and seeing Elliot and my sweet younger two kiddos ( Caleb had a game in Conway-don't worry after i got my medal I then ran to the car after grabbing my chocolate milk at the finish line and we jetted to his game!) was all worth it. And, my sweet flowers from Cannon! Love!

We also decided to make the announcement that we were expecting baby Jacobs #4 after the race. I wanted to wait so friends and family wouldn't worry while I ran or wanted to know why was I running while 3 months pregnant. Well, today is actually 3 months! So, we are good now... Yay!

Morning sickness decided
To grace me with its presence multiple times during the race also- note to self... DO NOT go into a porta potty to throw up! I was begging my precious God at that point! Horrible!

Oh, I look so tired in this picture! Poor baby Jacobs and the run just zapped me by mid afternoon it was me and my bath then bed.
I will officially be on a running hiatus for a while... And so will baby Jacobs!
This was def a journey of ups/downs but it was a spiritual journey for me beyond I could have ever imagined. As I ran I prayed for protection for our precious baby and for strength! God never fails!

Happy Monday, ice packs and all!!

CooCoo Birds

i am enjoying watching the big white snow flakes fall to the ground and listening to camdyn fight with ali-bama over her chair...seriously.

girlfriend loves her some ali-bama dog. no joke. she feeds her by hand, puts blankets on her and attempts to pick her up multiple times through the day. poor ali-bama.

sister friend has been chatty kathy lately and no one can get a word in at all. the other day in the car she would not stop talking, yelling or whatever she does and mr cannon said, "now that is one crazy coo-coo bird." oh, i wanted to cover my face... why???? because i use that term way too much to describe less then level headed human beings. oh no...boy i am in trouble with that.  i later found out on thursday afternoon he has been using that term at school (yes my school) to describe a little female friend that he does not care for.lovely. go me go.  he also made sure to tell his teacher mrs sarah that his mom says it ALL the time and she is the boss so she can. hahaha!! yay!

my sweet babies before school last week... cannon was dressed as "uncle matt" in his marengo academy longhorns sweatshirt and his basketball warm up pants. love. and then we got our very own coo-coo bird haha!!! sista is full blown of personality.love.

i enlisted the help of some of my preschool buddies to help me in taking a picture for my directory picture for the chamber of commerce. we had to take a silly picture...oh how i love them dearly and god is really allowing me to open my heart and serve him. god is good all the time. remember that.
cannon the donut man. i took the kiddos to krispy kreme two weekends ago while chief was at a wrestling tournament and cannon just loved it... for the entire day he was the donut man. he so embarrassed his big brother; we were on our way to kk's aau basketball tournament in little rock for the day. yay this mom was thinking... i guess.sorry kk.

this is kk and his beyond amazing, wonderful and precious teacher, mrs. scoggins.  kk had a basketball game and she had told him she would come and bring her two sons. her boys are AMAZING basketball players and they both play for the high school needless to say kk really looks up to them and they are sooo kind to kk.  her boys have played aau ball since they were 10 and mrs scoggins knows her basketball too (check out how tall she is; seriously).  when they came that morning it not only meant so much to kk but as a parent it meant the world to me. to have a teacher that takes this much interest in her students it such a blessing to chief and i. she truely loves her job and her students.  that morning she told me how much she enjoyed kk and how she couldn't wait to see him play; she had heard how well he played but couldn't wait to see it for herself.  she was blown away (her words to be exact). she couldn't believe she was seeing a 10 year old who really got the game/knowledge wise and how much a fighter he was. seriously... if someone scores on him watch out bc he will fight to score right back on you. his team went on to win in overtime. the score was 22-21 and kk had 18 points. (i know God does not like us to be boastful but it is my child and i am so proud of him.sorry lord please forgive me.)  kk played four more games that day at an aau tournament, it was our first aau experience and we learned a LOT oh my. his first shot was literally packed up into the bleachers by a 5 foot 5 inch 4th graders. ha. i had to laugh. god love him. he played well and was worn out by the end of the day- in bed by 7:30 pm. love him.

this next picture made me laugh so hard on friday night...

this made me think of my days back old el dorado high. our pto at kk's school sells valentine grams and we attach notes from the kids to a pack of fun dip. friday night i was working on my set of orders and i came across this candy gram, i had to take a picture and please do not think i am making fun of a child or anything like that at all. the what up home (homie i am guessing??) dog...haha give me a neclace. noted from a 3rd grader. oh, see bryant folks we can be ghetto too. it just gave me a wonderful laugh and a trip down memory lane-i could see this coming straight from a student at el do high. funny love.
