babies, babies and babies...everywhere

While the snow storm was heading our way a few weeks ago we were having our baby dedication at our church.
The weather was horrible so both of our families decided not to come which was kinda stinky but it ended up being perfect.
One of my best friends Jenn S. surprised me that morning and came! She is the greatest! And, Coach Clark (Chief coached softball with her last year) decided to come because first, our children LOVE her and last year they started calling her "DebDeb"-she ate it up and loves them to death.Secondly, Camdyn and her share the same birthday and like I said before she truly loves our children like they are her grandchildren and we are sooo blessed for that.
When DebDeb arrived we all about died because Camdyn and her both were sporting their Zebra print (Camdyn's smocked dress and bow/DebDeb's jewelry and purse) they looked precious together. And, DebDeb is a bling bling kinda woman! It cracks me up and drives Chief nuts! Just to let you know they fought like an OLD married couple all year last year!!! And, her kids are our age sooo she was ready to kick someones tail!!!ha!
When ended up dedicating Cannon Ty on this day also because we moved to Bryant when he just a few months old and we didn't have a home church at that time during the move.  Both of our babies were so well behaved and Chief did a wonderful job reading their verses and speaking about them. I cried tears of joy on this day for being blessed with such a wonderful husband, father to my children and our faith based relationship-I couldn't ask for anything more.
I didn't do great with pictures on this day because it was just WILD! Here a few my wonderful sweet friend took! Thanks Jenn S!

Crooked Eye

The past weekend my childhood best friend and I got our families together to catch up. Stacey (Crooked Eye-high school nickname but I still call her that almost every time I talk about her) had her first baby a girl named Hadley in June and we have seen each a few times since then like when Camdyn was born and a few girls nights but we just don't do it enough.
So, Sunday we all spent the afternoon together and it was wonderful and oh so funny!
We always just laugh so much and talk about crazy mess that makes Scott and Chief shake their heads!
This time it was wild-Cannon was getting into the crib and getting stuck and he was just WILD. It was so nice though to just hang out with no rush and catch up. It was the first time the girls (Hadley and Camdyn) have been able to interact also and it was just wonderful to see it and know what great friends they will be to each other as they grown up. When Stacey was holding Camdyn my eyes would start to tear up just knowing what lies ahead for our relationship and for our daughters it was just amazing. The joy it brought me to see Stacey hold my daughter and for myself to hold Hadley and the love I have for her child and that I know she has for Camdyn. Stacey is such an amazing first time mom too I just can't say enough about it!
It was a wonderful afternoon that I won't ever forget about.

"I Cancan!"

"I Cancan!"
This post is devoted to the one and only Cannon Ty, so if you would rather not read about one of the funniest, cutest and lovable 2 1/2 yr old (almost 3) around you may want to pass.

I am writing this post about Cannon Ty because he is starting a new adventure on next Tuesday and I am rather sad about it. Cannon will be starting preschool at First United Methodist and he will be attending the 3 day program.
Chief has really been pushing me to enroll him in the fall because we know he really needs it ( he strongly dislikes being separated from us). And, he is THE definition of the strong willed child-to the T.
Thank you James Dobson for helping me come to terms with that!HA! I promise it did not take much! When I called to ask about Fall Registration I went into detail about Cannon and why we were wanting to enroll him and how I stayed at home and etc...She then said well we just found out we have a student moving and we will conduct "interviews next week for the spot" First, what an interview? Secondly she goes on to say the class for next year is full but if he were to get this spot he would be basically grandfathered in next year. What, holy smokes are you kidding me???
I called Chief right away and he said , "Torri you have to do it and get over it!" Thanks Coach that's just what I needed!
So, Mr. Cannon Ty will leave me next week for 3 days a week to go learn in an awesome Christian environment, make new friends and develop an education foundation.
yah!!!!
I am struggling as you can tell but I know it will be amazing for him and mommy will be okay! I just also feel like oh I am a stay at home mom and sending my child off...but Chief says it is in your head and you need it and he needs it!
It will probably take me a while to get over it so next week please say a prayer for Cannon Ty (he does not do well with separation) and Mommy!

So, what has Cannon Ty been up to these days:
He has hidden Chief's keys to every gate, bus, door and building in the Bryant School District. (Please don't tell yet, we are looking daily)
He calls himself "CanCan"
He asks me everyday for a iPhone-and he says pretty please
The other night while in the tub I was listening to him talk while putting up stuff in the linen closet-he was playing with 2 pirates and he told one to wait his turn or he (the other pirate) would kick him in his balls. lovely.(thanks big bro and friends)
He can't wait for football season to start back-he wants to "pass a touchdown"
He calls Chief "Coach" almost daily
He LOVES my sewing machine and tells me it goes "real fast" and trust me he has tested it out!
Everyday when we go to pick up KK he tells me to "slow down der kids"
He LOVES KK's girlfriend-he will tell us "that's CanCan dirlfriend not KK, Camille my dirlfriend!"
I could go on and on but I know its time to stop! ha! Here a few pictures of my sweet little angel of a strong willed child! I love you CanCan! Gosh, mommy is going to miss your sweet little cheeks and you running your monster trucks downs my arms next week!

P.S. The first picture is of KK and his "dirlfiend," look who squeezed in the middle!

January Smanuary...

Oh my... where have we been?
Going crazy???? That what I feel like I have been doing since we got home from visiting everyone at Christmas time!
I have to upload all of our snow pictures from our big snow we had the week after Chief and KK went back to school. It was beautiful and so much fun! We were able to take the boys up the baseball field and sled down the big hill (Chief and I went sleddingg too)! I forgot how much fun it is to sled and race each other but oh my I was so sore the next day...I guess from climbing back up the big hill and my big fall!
Channa... this is for you! I was laughing at Elliot falling down the hill and there I go to the ground with sweet pea in my arms. I kept her from hitting the ground but boy did I fall hard and I could not stop laughing either could Chief. To tell the truth we had to leave right after that because I almost pottied in my pants from laughing so hard (and fyi-after 3 children your bladdder does not hold like it use to).
Cannon Ty is starting a new adventure in a week and I plan to update all about Mr. Cannon Ty this week! Sis is getting so big and getting up on all fours about to take off! KK made Honor Roll and is deep in basketball season! Chief is trying to get through wrestling season and I am sewing like a mad women lately and trying to motivate myself to start running!
Here are a few pictures from Christmas (yes, I know that was like a month ago)...And, our beach picture (minus Sis-well she is there but you know what i mean) long story but we just got them due to them being shipped to someone else and then tracking them down!)
Also, a picture for Nana of her "bama babies!"
